Where to farm

Mythic Mortis, at the end of the Crypt of Mortis in Doomwood. Start the Crypt quest with Lady Phimion in Battleon.

The Spear of Destiny is a named Mythic Mortis reward and AQ3D’s first Destiny weapon. Reaching the reward pool requires progressing through the Crypt and completing its difficult five-hero boss encounter. Because the fight has added phases and no respawns, the most useful farming loop is to prepare together, clear the challenge, then check the results before deciding on another full run. Do not plan around receiving the weapon on a particular clear; treat each victory as an opportunity to inspect the reward pool.

How to farm

Before you go

  • Begin Crypt of Mortis progression with Lady Phimion in Battleon.
  • Assemble five heroes for the level-50 Mythic encounter.
  • Bring a suitable loadout and agree on a survival plan for the no-respawn fight.
  1. Speak with Lady Phimion in Battleon and take the Crypt quest.
  2. Follow the quest into Doomwood and locate the graveyard Crypt entrance.
  3. Advance through the Crypt floors toward Mythic Mortis.
  4. Before engaging, confirm that all five heroes are ready and understand the encounter rule.
  5. Coordinate through Mortis’s phases, prioritizing party survival as well as damage.
  6. After victory, inspect the rewards for the Spear of Destiny and retain it if obtained.
  7. If it remains your goal, regroup and start another full Crypt run when the party is ready.

Farming tips

  • Keep the spear as the explicit target for each run so other drops do not distract from your collection check.
  • Agree on the party plan before entering the final fight; there is no mid-encounter respawn.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeatable through additional Crypt clears. The Spear of Destiny is a reward target, not a guaranteed victory drop.

Common mistakes

  • Expecting the weapon on the first clear; inspect each result without assuming a fixed outcome.
  • Leaving before checking rewards; confirm whether the named weapon appeared.
  • Starting the final challenge without a five-hero plan; gather and prepare the group first.

When to stop or switch

Stop when you obtain the Spear of Destiny or when the party needs more preparation before another no-respawn attempt.
