WHERE & HOW TO FARM Where to farm Open-world resource spots shown by the zone map’s Hidden Treasures card, in a biome and tier you can safely reach.
Hidden Treasures use resource node spots in open-world zones and can be opened by reducing their health to zero. They do not attack and provide no fame, so this is a loot detour rather than a combat-progression route. Contents vary, and the chest can return to its spot after a wait.
Before you go A weapon set that can break the chest without exposing you to unnecessary combat risk. A mount and gear matched to the zone’s PvP and carry risk. Inventory room for silver, random items and possible treasure objects. Open the zone map and check its Hidden Treasures card for a marked chest location. Travel toward the marked resource spot while checking for nearby hostile players. Locate the chest at the spot and reduce its health to zero to open it. Collect the dropped silver, items and treasure objects. Check the surrounding map for another treasure marker before choosing a detour. Secure the haul in town or continue only while the load remains affordable to lose. Return to a known treasure spot later if you want to check for its respawn. Farming tips The chest is a creature-like object that does not attack and gives no Fame; do not count it as a camp clear. Contents are random and can include items of several tiers, treasure objects and rarely a dungeon or expedition token. Repeat, collect and use Repeatable but individually limited: each chest can be opened once, then returns to its spot after roughly 10–20 minutes; loot is random.
Common mistakes Searching for combat Fame from the chest; it provides loot but no Fame. Assuming every resource spot contains a treasure; the map marker is the useful lead, and most spots are ordinary nodes. Staying in place during competition; take the chest and leave if hostile players approach. When to stop or switch Stop after the marked chest is opened or when the carried loot, zone traffic or distance to the next marker makes further searching unattractive.
