Before you go
- A solo set that clears camps and dungeon mobs without long recovery pauses.
- A mount, consumables and escape option suitable for Mists PvP exposure.
- Gear whose replacement cost fits the risk level of the Mists you enter.
Farming steps
- Enter a Mists area and identify a route through nearby camps.
- Check the area for other players before pulling camp mobs.
- Clear a camp, open its chest if available and collect fame books and loot.
- Continue between camps while checking the map and looking for an Abbey entrance.
- Enter the Abbey when its route and current opposition suit your build.
- Clear rooms and take rewards you can safely carry.
- Leave the Mists and bank before extending the session with valuable loot.
- Treat camps and Abbey as a combined route, but do not spend too long searching for an entrance if camps are already paying off.
- A chest reward includes fame books; collect them before leaving if fame progression matters.
Repeat, collect and use
Camps can be cleared again as you find them; an Abbey is a temporary encounter and can only be run when an entrance is available.
Common mistakes
- Searching indefinitely for the Abbey while ignoring available camps; keep the camp loop productive.
- Entering a contested Abbey with a full inventory; bank first or pass on the entrance.
- Assuming a Mists instance is private; watch for other players and leave when the fight is unfavorable.
When to stop or switch
Exit after an Abbey clear or when inventory value, hostile traffic or low camp availability makes further roaming a poor trade.
