Before you go
- A solo build able to break the chest and handle nearby threats.
- A mount, escape option and gear suited to lethal Roads exposure.
- Inventory room and a return route for any valuable haul.
Farming steps
- Enter a Roads map through an available portal and note a route back toward an exit.
- Check the map for hidden treasure locations and choose the nearest reasonable detour.
- Approach while watching for other players and avoid crossing into a group’s path.
- Reduce the treasure chest’s health to zero and collect the dropped loot.
- Check for another marked treasure spot on the current map before taking a new connection.
- Continue only if the next map has a useful route and your inventory remains manageable.
- Exit to the open world and bank the haul.
- Roads hidden treasures use their own spots rather than ordinary node locations, so check the Roads map instead of searching every resource node.
- Contents vary; treat the route as a loot opportunity rather than a guaranteed silver amount.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat on another Roads map or after a spot returns; each chest is a one-clear opportunity, with its spot replenishing after a wait.
Common mistakes
- Assuming Roads treasure appears at a normal resource node spot; search the dedicated Roads locations.
- Taking a new connection without tracking how to exit; keep a return option in mind.
- Carrying a valuable chest haul into more contested maps; bank before extending the run.
When to stop or switch
Stop when a chest has been opened and the next spot requires a risky detour, or exit as soon as the haul is valuable enough to secure.
