Episode 17 is permanent, but the Global access requirement is temporarily reduced during Critical Phase Transition. Meet the gate shown for the current date, then proceed through the chapter map. Your chapter progress remains after the promotion ends.
Before you go Global account with Main Theme access. Before the promotion ends October 28, 2026, clear 3-8; after it ends, clear 16-19. Sanity and a squad capable of clearing the selected operation. Open Main Theme and select Episode 17. Read the access requirement displayed in the client. If the episode is locked, clear the listed prerequisite: 3-8 during the temporary promotion, or 16-19 after it. Return to Episode 17 and open the first available operation. Check that operation’s enemy preview and clear condition before deployment. Complete the operation and claim the result screen rewards. Use the chapter map to select the next operation unlocked by your progress. If farming event currency, separately check the current event reward preview before spending Sanity. Farming tips Episode 17 progress persists when the temporary access reduction ends. The stage reward preview is the practical check for whether an operation currently awards event currency. Repeat, collect and use Chapter progression is permanent and can be completed once; cleared stages can be replayed while available.
Common mistakes Assuming the reduced gate remains after October 28; check the client’s listed requirement when returning. Treating event scrip as a permanent stage reward; it is tied to the promotion. Spending Sanity without checking the objective or reward preview; verify both first. When to stop or switch Stop when you reach the chapter operation you want, or switch to a permanent objective after the event currency window closes.
