Set Up an Atmospheric Condenser
A stable base on a planet whose atmosphere lists the gas you need.
Before you go
- Atmospheric Condenser.
- Power source connected at the chosen site.
- Empty gas canister or canisters.
- Storage space for collected gas.
Farming steps
- Decide which gas you want and choose a planet that can provide it.
- Place the Atmospheric Condenser at a safe location with access to power.
- Connect power and inspect the available gas choices in the machine.
- Select a listed gas; do not queue a gas absent from the local choices.
- Load empty canisters and let the condenser extract the selected atmosphere gas.
- Retrieve the filled canisters and store them by gas type.
- Carry the canisters to the chemistry or production setup that needs them.
- Check local availability before transporting the condenser; Desolo has no listed gas.
- Store canisters so their contents stay identifiable when you move them between bases.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat collection for as many canisters as you need, provided the gas is available and the condenser has power. Each filled canister is a separate collection; the planet determines which gas choices are possible.
Common mistakes
- Assuming every planet has the same gases: inspect local choices, and avoid planning a gas run on Desolo.
- Starting without power: connect the machine before selecting a gas.
- Leaving canisters mixed or unidentified: keep them sorted by gas for later use.
When to stop or switch
Stop when your canisters cover the next production need. Switch to a planet with the required gas if it is absent from the current condenser’s choices.
