A stable base site on Sylva or Calidor with space for an Atmospheric Condenser and its power supply.
Before you go
- Atmospheric Condenser.
- Reliable power for the machine.
- Gas canisters with room for the desired output.
- Transport and oxygen plan for moving between the base and storage.
Farming steps
- Choose Sylva or Calidor based on the gas you want to collect.
- Set up a safe landing and place the Atmospheric Condenser at your work area.
- Connect power, then inspect the machine’s available gas choices on that planet.
- Select a gas the condenser lists and load empty gas canisters as needed.
- Allow the machine to extract the chosen gas, then retrieve the filled canister.
- Store the canister with its gas type clear so it is easy to select for later production.
- Repeat the collection only for gases your planned recipes or infrastructure need.
- Check the local output list before transporting extra canisters; planet atmospheres differ.
- Keep filled canisters together and identifiable to avoid taking the wrong gas on a later trip.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the condenser cycle whenever you need more of a gas that the current planet offers. Each loaded canister is a collection unit; this does not guarantee every gas is available on either planet.
Common mistakes
- Assuming Sylva and Calidor offer identical gases: verify the local machine choices before selecting a target.
- Running the condenser without power: establish a working power connection before queueing collection.
- Leaving canisters unlabelled or mixed: store them so the gas type remains clear for use.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have filled the canisters needed for the next production batch. Switch planets if the desired gas does not appear in the current condenser’s choices.
