WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Any current chapter enemy route; Rockrest Flat in Fright Cliff is a repeatable Chapter 2 option. Allocate Sparks through Self-Advance.
Enemies and bosses grant experience. When experience raises your level, you receive Sparks to assign to abilities through Self-Advance. Will is a separate currency for purchases and crafting, so spending it does not produce character levels. Use ordinary enemy routes when you want additional experience, but return to chapter progress when the fights stop helping your build.
Reach an area with enemies that you can defeat reliably.
Activate a nearby Keeper’s Shrine to reset ordinary enemies.
Unlock Self-Advance to allocate Sparks.
Choose a manageable enemy route near a Shrine, such as the circuit around Rockrest Flat.
Defeat the nearby enemies and collect any Will or materials they drop.
Rest at the Keeper’s Shrine to recover and respawn ordinary enemies if you plan another pass.
Continue defeating enemies until your experience raises your level.
Open Self-Advance and assign the newly awarded Spark to an ability that supports your current play style.
If you want to change allocations, use Reignite the Sparks at a Shrine to reassign them.
Spend Will separately at the Shrine shop or on crafting you have unlocked.
Farming tips
Track your level and experience; an enemy clear does not necessarily award a Spark immediately.
Boss encounters also provide experience, so ordinary farming is optional if chapter progress is already moving your level.
Repeat, collect and use
Enemy experience farming is repeatable while ordinary enemies respawn at Shrines. Sparks from leveling depend on reaching new levels; the same enemies do not award a Spark for each kill.
Common mistakes
Expecting Will to buy character levels; use experience from combat for leveling.
Expecting a Spark after every route; Sparks follow level ups, not each enemy kill.
Leaving earned Sparks unspent; visit Self-Advance when you want to improve an ability.
When to stop or switch
Stop repeating a route when the next level is no longer a useful near term goal or when advancing through new encounters is more productive.
