Collect Mind Core materials on early route
Chapter 1, Bamboo Grove > Snake Trail Keeper’s Shrine and the path immediately beyond it.
Before you go
- Reach Bamboo Grove and activate Snake Trail Shrine.
- Have a combat setup suited to the snake headed enemies near the path.
- Carry the Incense Trail Talisman if you want a quick return to the Shrine.
Farming steps
- Rest at Snake Trail so ordinary enemies near the route are present.
- Climb the stairs and follow the nearby trail to the snake headed yaoguai.
- Defeat the targeted enemies and inspect their drops for a Mind Core.
- Collect any Will or other materials left on the route as secondary value.
- Return to Snake Trail with the talisman or by retracing the path.
- Rest to respawn ordinary enemies, then repeat only if Mind Cores remain useful to your build.
- Use collected materials through the relevant upgrade options when available.
- The enemy source is a chance, not a guaranteed drop; keep expectations flexible.
- Later areas may offer better progression for your character, so compare this early route with current chapter rewards.
Repeat, collect and use
Ordinary enemies can be reset with a Shrine rest, but Mind Core acquisition is random. Repeatable kills do not guarantee the material.
Common mistakes
- Assuming each snake headed enemy drops a Mind Core; inspect drops and plan for runs with none.
- Farming weak enemies indefinitely; move on when chapter progress is more valuable.
- Confusing the Mind Core with Will; it is a material, not spendable currency.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have enough Mind Cores for the upgrade you intend, or when this route no longer fits your level and time.
