Grand Assault runs by defense type
Lobby > Campaign > Grand Assault; select the active boss, defense type, and difficulty.
Before you go
- Clear Normal Mission 4-5 to unlock Grand Assault.
- Have a ticket for the defense type you plan to enter.
- Prepare a team for that version’s armor and terrain.
Farming steps
- Open the active Grand Assault and read the listed defense types and terrain.
- Select one defense type and build a team with a favorable attack matchup and terrain fit.
- Choose a difficulty your roster can clear, then enter using its ticket.
- If interrupted, re-enter the same fight within its one-hour window without another entry ticket.
- Complete the run and record which defense types still need a clear.
- Repeat the process for the other defense types if pursuing rank rewards.
- Claim rewards from the active event screen.
- A clear in every defense type is required for rank rewards; prioritize coverage before replaying one type repeatedly.
- Tickets are distributed daily by defense type and cap at seven; check the live screen for your balance.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat during the active Grand Assault while tickets remain. This is a scheduled, limited-entry mode; each defense type has its own ticket and rank eligibility requires at least one clear of each type.
Common mistakes
- Spending all entries on one armor version: clear each required defense type for rank qualification.
- Starting with an unsuitable squad: build around the selected defense type’s armor and terrain.
- Using a fresh ticket after a brief interruption: the same fight can be re-entered during its one-hour time limit.
When to stop or switch
Stop after clearing every required defense type and claiming rewards, or spend remaining tickets on the best achievable score before the event ends.
