Before you go
- Complete This Just In and turn it in to Mordecai so Hellquist can respawn.
- Reach Arid Nexus – Boneyard and bring equipment suited to the enemies around the station.
Farming steps
- Fast travel to Arid Nexus – Boneyard and follow the road east to the Hyperion radio station.
- Enter the station, ride the elevator, and open the door to reach Hellquist.
- Defeat Hellquist and inspect the loot for The Bee.
- Collect the shield if it fits your character and build; compare its level and parts with your current gear.
- If it is not the roll you want, save and quit to the main menu, then continue.
- Return to the station and repeat the fight.
- Finish and turn in This Just In before beginning repeated kills; leaving it incomplete prevents Hellquist from respawning.
- Dedicated sources are more focused than broad world-drop farming, but the shield is still chance-based.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable after This Just In is turned in: kill Hellquist, check loot, and save-quit to reset. Stop when you have a usable Bee or no longer need one.
Common mistakes
- Trying to farm before turning in This Just In; complete the turn-in first.
- Assuming every kill drops The Bee; inspect each drop and plan for multiple attempts.
- Searching the radio station without taking the elevator; use it to reach Hellquist.
When to stop or switch
Keep the best Bee that suits your level and build; switch to another farm when the shield is no longer an upgrade.
