Before you go
- Own and unlock the How Marcus Saved Mercenary Day Headhunter content.
- Reach Tinder Snowflake’s arena and be able to defeat the boss.
- Have inventory capacity for several drops.
Farming steps
- Travel from Marcus’s Mercenary Shop to Frost Bottom.
- Enter the arena, ring the bell, and defeat Tinder Snowflake.
- Open the Loot Train chests and collect the items you want to evaluate.
- Compare each item with your equipped weapons, shields, and build needs.
- Keep upgrades and move unwanted items to inventory if possible.
- Visit a vending machine and sell the surplus gear for cash.
- Leave room in your pack before the run so you can collect more saleable items.
- Check item levels and useful attributes before selling; rarity alone does not determine whether a piece fits your character.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat by defeating Tinder Snowflake and opening the train again; save-quit and return to reset the encounter. Cash depends on which items you sell.
Common mistakes
- Selling gear before comparing it with your build; inspect the whole haul first.
- Assuming the train is available without the Mercenary Day pack; it is DLC-gated.
- Leaving items behind due to a full inventory; free space before returning to the arena.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have the cash you need or the haul no longer offsets the time spent; keep any remaining useful upgrades.
