Target Idolator Sol for Golden God
Idolator Sol’s dedicated loot pool includes Golden God, giving you a boss route to pursue the shotgun outside its current…
WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Target Idolator Sol for Golden God
Idolator’s Noose in the Fadefields; enter Fortress Indomita and proceed to Idolator Sol’s arena.
Before you go
- Complete the Rush the Gate main mission to unlock Idolator Sol.
- Reach Idolator’s Noose and activate its available fast travel point.
- Bring a build that can clear the fortress enemies and boss consistently.
Farming steps
- Fast travel to Idolator’s Noose and enter Fortress Indomita.
- Advance through the fortress toward its final boss arena, clearing enemies along the route.
- Defeat Idolator Sol and collect the dropped loot.
- Check the drops for Golden God and other items from his dedicated pool.
- If the shotgun does not drop, leave or reload the area using the game’s available travel option, then return to the arena.
- Repeat the boss route while Golden God remains your target.
- The current Old Lads Wildcard guarantees Golden God only through October 29, 2026; use that route during the rotation if you want predictable copies.
- Decide in advance whether you want Golden God or another dedicated drop, such as his other listed pool items, so you can judge each run’s result.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable as a boss farm after the story unlock. Golden God is a chance drop here; there is no guaranteed number of attempts.
Common mistakes
- Expecting every kill to yield Golden God: it is a chance drop, so keep running or switch to a guaranteed weekly reward when available.
- Rushing into the fortress without enough survivability: tune your build for the full approach as well as the boss.
- Continuing after a better weekly route appears: compare the current Wildcard reward before spending time on random drops.
When to stop or switch
Stop when Golden God has the roll you want, or switch to another source if repeated kills are no longer worth the time.
