Before you go
- Unlock a story pack with a merchant and bulletin board.
- Have enough gold for the intended Ability Pill purchase.
- Have a field ability you plan to level.
Farming steps
- Choose the field ability you want to improve and check its pill cost in the skill interface.
- Visit the bulletin board in a story pack with an available daily quest.
- Complete the pack’s daily quest to qualify for its merchant discount.
- Go to that pack’s merchant and open the Ability Pill listing.
- Buy the quantity your planned skill upgrade requires.
- Return to the field ability menu and spend the pills on the chosen skill.
- Check your remaining gold before buying more pills for another ability.
- The discount is tied to completing a daily quest in the pack; do that before shopping.
- Prioritize skills you will use, such as Dispatch, Alchemy, or Gear Crafting, instead of leveling every field ability at once.
Repeat, collect and use
The merchant purchase can be repeated when you need more pills and have gold. Complete the daily quest first for its discount when available; the quest reward itself is limited by its daily availability.
