WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Named waters around Starlet Town, including Forest River, Estuary, Temple Lake, Town Dock Ocean, and Beach Ocean.
Fish are associated with named waters and can be limited by season, weather, or time. Choose one target, check all its listed conditions, then fish at the matching water body while those conditions hold. Keep a catch required for a museum, altar, or request; sell or store extras according to your current goals.
A specific fish target with known location and conditions
Time to reach the matching water during its availability
Pick a fish you need for a collection, request, or other goal.
Check the target’s named water location and its season, weather, and time conditions.
Travel to that exact water body when the listed conditions are present.
Cast with the Fishing Pole and continue while the target remains available.
Keep the fish if it is needed for the museum, altar, or a request.
Store or sell extra catches after checking your current plans.
Change location or activity when the target’s conditions no longer apply.
Farming tips
Fishing advances game time, so plan around the target’s availability window.
Use the named water location rather than assuming any nearby river or coast will work.
Repeat, collect and use
Fishing can be repeated whenever a species’ conditions are met. Availability is specific to the fish, so the same spot or time will not suit every target.
Common mistakes
Casting at a broadly similar but incorrect water body: match the fish’s named location.
Ignoring season, weather, or time: check every condition before spending time fishing.
Selling the only needed catch: reserve collection and quest fish first.
When to stop or switch
Stop or switch activities when the target’s season, weather, or time conditions are absent. Resume fishing when the required conditions return.
