Before you go
- Diving access through the Pier
- Scythe for kelp
- Critter net if collecting underwater critters
Farming steps
- Take the Diving Pier boat to an accessible zone with cleaned paths.
- Scan the open seabed and restored coral routes for loose forage.
- Pick up visible items directly from the ocean floor.
- Cut kelp with the scythe and collect the material it releases.
- Use the net on visible critters if they are part of your collection goal.
- Check museum, altar, and request needs before using or selling what you found.
- Process surplus forage only when an available machine accepts it.
- Return to cleaned pylon routes as restoration opens further sections of the ocean.
- Keep different collection items sorted if you are tracking several goals at once.
Repeat, collect and use
Forage collection is repeatable in accessible diving areas. Revisit cleaned routes whenever you need kelp or other available materials; availability varies by area.
Common mistakes
- Searching only trash piles: inspect open seabed and restored paths as well.
- Expecting access through an uncleared route: activate pylons to heal coral and open paths.
- Processing or selling the last needed item: check active goals before using your finds.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have enough for your current offering, request, or processing batch. Return later if you need more materials or another area has opened.
