Farming steps
- Check Sam’s stock for seeds suited to Fall.
- Read each crop’s season and growth period before buying, especially when Fall is underway.
- Decide how much land you can water daily and prepare only that area.
- Plant the seeds and water the crops each day while they grow.
- Harvest mature crops and set aside items needed for altar bundles or requests.
- Ship surplus produce after checking your current goals.
- Before Winter, harvest or clear seasonal plants that will not continue.
- A smaller planting late in the season can reduce wasted seed and watering effort.
- Keep uncertain progression items in storage until you have checked active goals.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat planting and harvesting only while the crop schedule fits Fall. Outdoor seasonal crops do not provide a Winter harvest, so the loop ends with the season change.
Common mistakes
- Buying seeds before comparing maturity with the calendar: check the crop details first.
- Assuming Fall plants continue into Winter: harvest or clear them before the transition.
- Shipping the last copy of a needed item: reserve it until the relevant request or bundle is complete.
When to stop or switch
Stop starting new crops when their listed growth period extends beyond Fall. Use the remaining time to collect mature produce and prepare the farm for Winter.
