Galaxite
Desert of Beginnings, a distinct outer biome reached beyond the Great Wall; it is separate from the Passage.
Before you go
- Great Wall access and gear suited to outer-biome enemies.
- Pickaxe capable of mining the encountered Galaxite terrain.
- Fury Forge for processing Galaxite Ore.
- A map marker for any boulder you find.
Farming steps
- Open the Great Wall after defeating the initial Titans, then progress through the outer biomes toward the Desert of Beginnings.
- Identify the desert from its open sand terrain and sandstone walls; the order and direction of outer biomes vary by world.
- Search desert walls for Galaxite and mine accessible ore with your pickaxe.
- Mark any Galaxite boulder on the map; do not spend time trying to break it by hand.
- Return to base and smelt gathered Galaxite Ore in a Fury Forge.
- Use the bars for the Galaxite workbench tier and equipment recipes you have selected.
- If you later build a drill site on a boulder, check its output and Fury Forge capacity during collection visits.
- Keep the Desert of Beginnings distinct from the Passage, which is a separate outermost biome.
- The world map is more useful than fixed directions because outer biome positions are generated per world.
Repeat, collect and use
Unexplored desert terrain can provide more ore. Each boulder is finite and yields 1,800 ore total; seek other deposits after it runs dry.
Common mistakes
- Looking for Galaxite in the Passage: search the Desert of Beginnings.
- Taking ore to a lower-tier furnace: Galaxite processing requires a Fury Forge.
- Leaving processed output unattended indefinitely: full processing storage can stop a production chain.
When to stop or switch
Switch to crafting when you have enough bars for the Galaxite station and chosen gear; resume exploration only if a specific recipe needs more.
