Act 2 boss checkpoint route
Act 2: Endless Desert, from The Cursed at 7:00 to The Djinn at 20:00.
Before you go
- Unlock Endless Desert.
- Build for both wave clear and boss damage.
- Keep mobility and an escape route for the Act’s area hazards.
Farming steps
- Start an Act 2 run and build steadily through the opening waves.
- Before 7:00, move into open ground and defeat The Cursed while responding to its acid hazard and close-range threat.
- Check the shop after the first boss if you need a stronger item.
- Before 14:00, approach the Insect Queen with room to move and clear helpers if they prevent meaningful damage to her.
- Reassess the build and shop after the Queen’s checkpoint.
- If the run remains stable, prepare for The Djinn before 20:00; use available cover against its fire and area attacks.
- Collect the run’s actual rewards and compare equipment in town.
- Each boss checkpoint can improve shop quality, so inspect the shop as you progress.
- Act 2 is the Tier 2 realm; finishing reliably can prepare a build for Darkmoor.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the sequence for boss rewards and item opportunities. The farm is repeatable, but exact drops and quantities vary.
Common mistakes
- Ignoring hazards while attacking The Cursed; move as soon as the area danger appears.
- Attacking the Insect Queen through helpers that block meaningful damage; clear the obstructing adds.
- Assuming every run must reach The Djinn; bank a reliable earlier checkpoint when the build is strained.
When to stop or switch
Continue toward Act 3 once you can regularly reach the later Act 2 checkpoints with a build that survives the route.
