Endless Desert Djinn Essence
Act 2: Endless Desert, 20:00 final boss checkpoint.
Before you go
- Unlock Endless Desert.
- Select the character whose Talents you plan to upgrade.
- Bring a build that can survive the Act 2 route and sustain damage through the final fight.
Farming steps
- Start an Endless Desert run and develop a build suited to both routine waves and bosses.
- Defeat The Cursed at 7:00 and the Insect Queen at 14:00, keeping enough health and mobility for the final checkpoint.
- Before 20:00, move toward open ground and identify cover or a retreat route in the arena.
- Watch for the Djinn’s fire attack and area hazards; use available pillars or cover when they help you avoid damage.
- Keep a dash available for the next hazard instead of spending every dash to attack.
- Defeat the Djinn, collect its Essence, and spend it on the current character’s Talents.
- Boss checkpoints arrive at 7:00, 14:00 and 20:00; plan your route and resources around those marks.
- The Djinn is the Act 2 endpoint, so you can collect its reward without starting another Act.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat Endless Desert runs and reach the 20:00 Djinn fight. The Essence is earned by and remains with the character used for the run.
Common mistakes
- Entering the final fight with no dash available; save one for a hazard or beam pattern.
- Treating Act 2 Essence as shared across the roster; it is character-bound.
- Pushing to the Djinn before you can consistently survive earlier checkpoints; practice a shorter boss farm first.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the character has enough Essence for the Talents you want or when the 20:00 fight makes the run unreliable; farm a checkpoint you can clear consistently.
