WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Act 3 Darkmoor boss checkpoints
Act 3: Darkmoor, through the 20:00 Lady of the Lake encounter.
Before you go
- Unlock Act 3 and select Darkmoor.
- Bring a build with dependable boss damage, area coverage and mobility.
- Approach each checkpoint with enough room to evade its hazards.
Farming steps
- Start a Darkmoor run and build through early waves without spending every escape option.
- Before 7:00, reach open ground for Frog King; move out of poison and slam zones and respond to its breath attack.
- Collect the first checkpoint reward and assess whether the run can continue.
- Before 14:00, prepare for Scarecrow’s projectiles and thorn hazards; keep moving around open parts of the arena.
- Clear dangerous summons if they cut off your movement, then resume attacking the boss.
- If the run remains stable, prepare for Lady of the Lake at 20:00 and attack after her slash patterns rather than crossing into them repeatedly.
- Collect the actual rewards and inspect Tier 3 equipment after the run.
- Act 3 boss behavior has changed across patches; use the current in-game telegraphs and keep an escape route open.
- A Frog King or Scarecrow checkpoint can still advance a Tier 3 farming run if the final fight is not yet reliable.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat Darkmoor runs for checkpoint rewards and variable equipment. Act 4 is not a live route in this scope; do not continue beyond the released Act 3 content.
Common mistakes
- Treating older attack timing as guaranteed current behavior; respond to the present telegraphs.
- Pushing to Lady of the Lake after a dangerous early fight; stop at a valuable checkpoint if needed.
- Assuming fixed Act 3 Essence or equipment quantities; inspect the in-game result.
When to stop or switch
Stop when Lady of the Lake is defeated or when the run is no longer safe to continue; repeat Darkmoor for further Tier 3 opportunities.
