Baron’s Hands Essence
Act 1: Outer Circle, 7:00 boss checkpoint.
Before you go
- Have Outer Circle unlocked.
- Use the character whose Talent progression you want to advance.
- Prepare to handle two mobile melee bosses at once.
Farming steps
- Begin an Outer Circle run and build enough damage and survivability for an early boss fight.
- As the clock approaches 7:00, move to open ground rather than letting routine enemies crowd you against an edge.
- Watch the Hands’ charge and claw telegraphs; sidestep into clear space.
- Attack after a charge finishes instead of pursuing a Hand through its wind-up.
- Keep both bosses in view and continue evading until each is defeated.
- Collect the encounter’s Essence for the character you are playing, then spend it on that character’s Talents.
- Ranged characters can maintain distance while attacking; melee characters should use the post-charge opening.
- Both Hands form one timed encounter, so the checkpoint is not complete when only one falls.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat Act 1 runs and defeat both Hands at 7:00. The Essence reward is character-bound; this is not a one-time collection.
Common mistakes
- Focusing on only one Hand and assuming the encounter is over; defeat both.
- Dashing through both bosses when a charge begins; preserve open space and sidestep when possible.
- Using a character whose Talents you do not intend to upgrade; Essence does not move between characters.
When to stop or switch
Stop farming this checkpoint when the character’s early Talent needs are covered, or continue toward the 14:00 Necromancer for another boss reward.
