Before you go
- Start an Elimination or Escort Duty dive with a listed secondary objective.
- Read the task condition and reward before leaving the objective area.
- Keep the main mission route clearable while pursuing the optional task.
Farming steps
- At the start of the dive, inspect the HUD for the secondary objective.
- Read what must be collected, killed, or otherwise completed.
- Follow the main route and complete objective actions when targets appear nearby.
- Collect required items or defeat required enemies as the task specifies.
- Check the HUD progress rather than assuming nearby actions counted.
- Finish any remaining requirement before activating the final extraction trigger.
- Complete the main objective and extract after the secondary task is confirmed.
- Spend Gold during the run when useful; unused Gold contributes to XP afterward.
- Pair objective progress with the main route to avoid risky backtracking.
- If the task is far from completion near the final trigger, compare the value of its reward with the risk of delaying the clear.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat on later dives whenever a secondary objective appears. Each listed task is limited to that run and must be completed before extraction.
Common mistakes
- Ignoring the objective text: verify which action counts before spending time on it.
- Extracting too early: check completion before triggering the final extraction.
- Chasing distant requirements at any cost: preserve the main mission clear and abandon unsafe detours.
When to stop or switch
Stop once the HUD confirms the objective reward and proceed to the main objective; skip or abandon the task if finishing it threatens the run.
