Player Rank progression, then the Escort Duty campaign track
Before you go
- Have access to the PC full-release progression systems.
- Complete accessible dives to advance Player Rank.
- Reach Player Rank 10 before selecting Escort Duty.
Farming steps
- Check your current Player Rank on the main progression screen.
- Choose an accessible Elimination dive or other unlocked mission to play.
- Complete the main objective and any practical secondary objective.
- Collect run rewards and finish the dive so progression can continue.
- Repeat manageable dives until the rank display reaches 10.
- Return to the mission selection and check that Escort Duty is available.
- Select its separate campaign track and review the first sector goal.
- Begin the Escort objective, gathering Oil Shale when the Drilldozer requires fuel.
- Secondary objectives award Gold and XP, so completing a practical one can support progression during a normal run.
- Once unlocked, Escort Duty has its own roadmap; do not expect Elimination sector progress to substitute for it.
Repeat, collect and use
The rank requirement is a one-time unlock. Rank advancement uses repeatable dives, but reaching Rank 10 does not need to be repeated.
Common mistakes
- Searching for Escort Duty before Rank 10: advance Player Rank first.
- Grinding only one difficult mission: use accessible dives you can complete consistently.
- Assuming unlock completes a sector: select Escort Duty and satisfy its separate track objectives.
When to stop or switch
Stop the unlock loop when Escort Duty appears as an available branch; switch to its first sector rather than continuing rank-focused dives.
