WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Assignment Board on the Space Rig; the chain becomes available after a Dwarf is promoted.
After your first Dwarf promotion, Breach the Core becomes a long assignment that opens the main weekly Overclock route. It takes nine marked missions; only the mission shown for the active assignment step advances it. Claim the resulting cores, then forge them as your minerals allow. Plan for this as a progression chain, not a short resource run.
Have Assignment Board access and an open assignment slot.
Track the active Breach the Core mission marker before launching each mission.
Leave time for nine successful assigned mission completions.
Open the Assignment Board after promotion and select Breach the Core.
Read the currently marked mission’s type and biome, then select that exact node at the Mission Terminal.
Complete the marked mission successfully; a similar mission without the marker will not progress the chain.
Return to the board and review the next marked mission, since its requirements can change.
Repeat the select, complete, and verify cycle until all nine mission steps are done.
Claim the assignment completion reward of six Infused Matrix Cores.
Check that Weekly Core Hunt is now available on the board and select it when ready.
Take collected cores to the Forge and review their mineral costs before crafting.
Farming tips
If the listed biome or mission changes with rotation, follow the current assignment marker rather than a remembered route.
Use the nine missions to advance other available goals when they naturally match, but verify the Breach step actually progressed.
Repeat, collect and use
One-time assignment per account progression. It unlocks Weekly Core Hunt, which then becomes the repeatable weekly source.
Common mistakes
Playing the right mission type in the wrong node may not count; confirm the assignment diamond before launch.
Expecting the cores before the final step overlooks the chain reward; finish all nine and claim completion.
Starting with an active assignment slot occupied prevents selecting this chain; complete or change the active assignment first.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the six cores are claimed and Weekly Core Hunt appears on the board. Move to Core Hunt for recurring cores or Forge the collected cores if you have the minerals.
