Infuse a Blank Matrix Core at a machine event
An activated machine event found during a regular mission; use the Forge on the Space Rig afterward to craft an infused core reward.
Before you go
- Own a Blank Matrix Core and have access to machine events after promotion.
- Bring a Tritilyte Key to activate a machine event.
- Be prepared to complete the event objective once activated.
- Have the crafting minerals required by the resulting core if you plan to Forge it immediately.
Farming steps
- Check your inventory for a Blank Matrix Core before launching a mission.
- Enter a regular mission and search for a machine event as you explore the cave.
- When you find one, gather the team and confirm a Tritilyte Key is available.
- Activate the event with the key and complete the event’s displayed objective.
- Use the event machine with the Blank Matrix Core to receive an infused core reward.
- Return to the Space Rig and open the Forge terminal.
- Select the infused core and craft it when you can pay its displayed mineral cost.
- Keep the Blank Core in reserve until a machine event is activated; a key alone does not guarantee an event will appear in a particular mission.
- Check the Forge’s displayed mineral cost before infusing if you want to craft the resulting reward soon.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat for each Blank Matrix Core you own, but each conversion requires another suitable machine event and a Tritilyte Key. Event availability is not guaranteed in a given mission.
Common mistakes
- Expecting the core to infuse automatically after a mission misses the event step; use it at the machine event.
- Starting an event without a Tritilyte Key prevents activation; confirm a key is available before committing.
- Confusing infusion with Forge crafting can leave the reward unfinished; return to the Forge and pay the displayed crafting cost.
When to stop or switch
Stop once the core is infused and either forged or held for later crafting. If no event appears, complete the mission and try another rather than abandoning the core goal.
