Where to farm

Raids and Dungeons in the Director, or the weekly dungeon challenge in Vanguard Alerts.

Dungeon farming is most useful when you know which activity and encounter contain the item you want. Check the Director’s activity details and reward preview, then enter with up to three players. Complete encounters, collect their drops, and confirm whether the activity currently allows another eligible reward before replaying an encounter. Dungeon access and loot eligibility can vary by activity, so base the farm on the current in-game display rather than assuming every featured run pays the same way. Use the reward preview to choose a dungeon whose pool actually includes your target.

How to farm

Before you go

Access to the dungeon, including an expansion or dungeon key where required.
A fireteam of up to three players, or a plan for the chosen solo difficulty.
A target item listed in the dungeon’s current rewards.

Open the weekly challenge details and identify the dungeon and objective.
Inspect its reward preview for your target item or encounter reward.
Confirm the activity is unlocked for your fireteam.
Launch the dungeon and defeat its encounters using their mechanics.
Collect rewards after each encounter and check for your target.
Before replaying an encounter, verify that the current rules allow another reward.
