WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Farm destination enhancement materials
Altars of Sorrow on the Moon, Wellspring in Savathûn’s Throne World, or Overthrow in the Pale Heart.
Before you go
- Access to the relevant destination and activity unlock.
- Campaign or expansion access required by the selected activity.
- A target material listed in the current reward preview.
Farming steps
- Inspect available activity reward details for the target supply.
- Choose an activity whose preview lists a relevant reward.
- Travel to its destination and launch the activity.
- Complete its encounter chain and collect the rewards.
- Check Inventory for the material and read its use description.
- Repeat if the target is still needed and the activity remains reward-eligible.
- Compare current reward previews before choosing a difficulty for rarer enhancement rewards.
- Use the material’s Inventory entry to confirm how it can be spent.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat while the activity is available and its rules permit further payouts; a particular material is not guaranteed unless the reward display explicitly says so.
Common mistakes
- Choosing an activity based on outdated reward assumptions; confirm the current preview.
- Entering before unlocking the destination activity; check access first.
- Treating a possible material drop as guaranteed; verify each payout.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have enough of the target supply or the activity no longer lists it; switch to another confirmed source.
