Attune a weapon before its activity farm
Inventory’s Attunement menu and the matching activity node in the Portal.
Before you go
- The target weapon appears in the activity’s current reward pool.
- You can launch the activity that lists the weapon.
Farming steps
- Open Portal activity details and inspect the reward preview for your target.
- Open Inventory and select Attunement.
- Choose the target weapon for the activity family you plan to play.
- Launch that matching Portal activity.
- Complete its displayed objectives and collect the activity rewards.
- Inspect the drops for the weapon and desired roll.
- If your target or activity changes, update attunement before the next run.
- Attunement is free and can be changed when your goal changes.
- Check the reward pool first; attunement cannot make an absent item drop.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat eligible matching completions while the target remains in the pool; a weapon drop is not guaranteed.
Common mistakes
- Attuning before checking the pool; confirm the target is listed first.
- Launching a different activity family; match the selected activity type.
- Expecting a guaranteed weapon; each eligible completion is only a chance.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have the weapon and roll you want, or switch activities if the preview no longer lists it.
