Before you go
- Reach Lower Kurast in the difficulty you are farming.
- Have a waypoint or town route that makes repeated access practical.
- Carry enough inventory space to collect runes and crafting supplies.
Farming steps
- Travel to Lower Kurast and scan the nearby layout for clusters of huts and fires.
- Move between the clustered huts, checking their superchests and nearby containers.
- Collect runes, gems, and other materials that fit your goals.
- Avoid detours into monster packs unless they block the route or are a deliberate target.
- Return to town to store the haul and free inventory space.
- Reset the game and repeat, reassessing the map layout.
- A compact chest cluster is the useful layout; abandon a scattered route if traversal takes too long.
- This is a container farm, so Magic Find is not a substitute for opening the route’s targets.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat indefinitely, especially when the game mode gives you a favorable layout; chest contents are random and no particular rune is assured.
Common mistakes
- Clearing the whole area as if it were a density farm; focus on chest clusters.
