Where to farm
Local event markers inside the active Helltide region shown on the world map.
Use this route when you want to add Helltide Commander encounters to ordinary event clearing. Commanders do not appear after every event, so treat the boss as a possible event finale rather than a guaranteed spawn. Clear the surrounding enemies, defeat the Commander if one appears, and collect the event rewards. You can continue toward other Helltide goals afterward, such as gathering Cinders for a Tortured Gift. This is an event loop, not a way to target a particular Unique or guarantee a specific material.

Inventory space for event drops and a plan for any Cinders you collect.
Open the world map and travel to the active Helltide.
Find a local event marker within the region and reach it safely.
Start the event and complete its objectives while clearing the enemies that interfere.
When a Commander appears at the event’s conclusion, focus it and avoid letting other enemies surround you.
Collect the Commander’s drops and the event reward before leaving the area.
Check your Cinders and continue to another event or spend them at a suitable Tortured Gift.
Farming tips
Finish the event objective: Commanders are described as appearing at the end of some events, not as roaming targets.
Clear nearby enemies before the finale when possible; multiple remaining enemies can make the Commander encounter more dangerous.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat at available Helltide events while the region is active. Each event can be completed once per appearance, and a Commander is not guaranteed at every event.
Common mistakes
Expecting a Commander after every event: complete other events for their rewards when none appears.
Ignoring leftover enemies during the finale: reduce the surrounding threat before focusing on the Commander.
Leaving the Helltide with unused Cinders: spend them at an appropriate chest before the event ends.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the Helltide ends, event clearing becomes unsafe, or you have collected the event rewards you need; switch to another activity if you need a specific material or boss target.
