Before you go

Farming steps

  1. Travel to the active Helltide shown on the map.
  2. Explore the region for Screaming Hell Veins among its interactable resource nodes.
  3. Interact with each vein and collect any Forgotten Souls and Cinders it yields.
  4. Kill enemies and complete nearby events while moving between nodes.
  5. Spend Cinders at available gifts whose displayed rewards suit your material or gear goal.
  6. Return to town and use the Souls for an eligible equipment improvement.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat this loop during active Helltides while you need Souls. Each event provides a new opportunity to check enemies, nodes and gifts; no individual vein guarantees a Soul.

Common mistakes

  • Expecting every vein to yield a Soul: collect its actual drop and keep searching or use other Helltide rewards.
  • Leaving Cinders unspent: use suitable gifts before the event ends.
  • Gathering without a planned use: identify the equipment you intend to improve before extending the farm.

When to stop or switch

Stop when you have enough Souls for the next planned improvement or the Helltide ends; switch to another material activity if this route is no longer useful.
