WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Sunlit Plateau Goofy’s Stall for Cotton Seeds; a prepared garden plot in the Valley; crafting station for Fabric.
Grow Cotton when a crafting project calls for Fabric. Repair Goofy’s Stall in the Sunlit Plateau to unlock Cotton Seeds, plant them in the Valley, and water them through their growth cycle. Cotton takes about twenty-five minutes to mature and needs three waterings according to the crop entry; planting in its native biome can improve crop growth. Each harvest supplies Cotton, and five Cotton craft into one Fabric at a crafting station. Keep the harvest earmarked for Fabric recipes rather than selling it as a vegetable, because Cotton is listed as a crafting material. This route differs from wheat, tomatoes, and chili peppers in the target output: it feeds textile crafting, not cooking.
Sunlit Plateau unlocked and Goofy’s Stall repaired once to unlock Cotton Seeds.
Star Coins for seeds and a garden plot with water access.
Crafting station access and five Cotton per Fabric.
Unlock the Sunlit Plateau and complete the initial repair of Goofy’s Stall there.
Buy Cotton Seeds from the stall and set aside enough coins for the number of Fabric units planned.
Plant Cotton in a prepared plot; use the Sunlit Plateau if you want to match the crop’s native biome.
Water the crop as needed through its three watering requirement; rain can water unwatered crops.
Wait for Cotton to mature, then harvest and collect the material.
Repeat the planting cycle until the Cotton stock reaches five units for each Fabric required.
At a crafting station, open the refined-material recipes and make Fabric from the Cotton batch.
Store the finished Fabric for furniture, quest, or crafting requirements and keep excess Cotton aside for future projects.
Farming tips
Cotton is classified as a crafting material and is sold as seed at the Sunlit Plateau stall after the initial repair.
Do not plant all seed stock in one batch if you need space for food crops in the same biome.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat seed purchase, planting, watering, and harvesting when you need more Fabric. Cotton is not a renewable bush; each field cycle starts from purchased seed.
Common mistakes
Checking the wrong Goofy’s Stall before Sunlit Plateau is unlocked and repaired.
Selling Cotton as if it were a cooking vegetable before checking upcoming Fabric requirements.
Expecting Cotton to grow without its required watering.
When to stop or switch
Stop planting when the Fabric reserve covers your planned crafts; use the plot for another crop if textile stock is sufficient.
