Blue ripple pools at Dazzle Beach between 6 p.m. and 5 a.m. local Dreamlight Valley time.
Before you go
- Dazzle Beach unlocked.
- Fishing Rod and open inventory slots.
- Access to Blue ripple pools during the night window.
Farming steps
- Check the in-game time and travel to Dazzle Beach only when the Kingfish window is open.
- Look for Blue ripple pools and cast directly into a pool.
- Complete the fishing prompt and collect the fish.
- Inspect the catch for Kingfish; other Blue-pool fish may also appear.
- Continue through available Blue pools while you need more Kingfish.
- Store the fish needed for a recipe, quest, or collection target before selling any surplus.
- End the route before 5 a.m. if the target has not been met, and plan another nighttime visit.
- Use other daytime activities between windows instead of spending casts outside the documented period.
- Kingfish is listed as a Blue-ripple fish that requires night, with a 6 p.m.–5 a.m. window.
- If no Blue pools are visible, continue other activities briefly and check the shoreline again rather than using open water.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat during later nighttime windows until the planned Kingfish stock is met. The fish is not available at every time of day.
Common mistakes
- Searching during daytime when the Kingfish condition is inactive.
- Fishing in another biome or in open water instead of Dazzle Beach Blue pools.
- Assuming every Blue pool yields Kingfish.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the target amount is collected or the 5 a.m. window closes; return on another night for more.
