Before you go
- Unlock the biome where the target forage appears.
- Have inventory room for the gathered items.
- Bring a Foraging-role villager if you want bonus drops.
Farming steps
- Choose the exact forage material needed for a recipe, quest, or craft.
- Check its biome and source type in your collection information.
- Travel to the correct region and scan its paths and edges.
- Pick up matching ground forage or harvest the corresponding tree or bush.
- Collect each item before leaving the area.
- Reserve the required amount, then store or sell surplus.
- Keep tree and bush harvests distinct from ground forage when planning return visits; their refresh patterns differ.
- Use a Foraging companion while collecting if extra drops would help.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat after the relevant forage nodes or plants replenish; exact return timing depends on the source type.
Common mistakes
- Searching the wrong biome will not find a region-specific item; verify the location first.
