WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Miner gathering areas in Cania and Frigost, chosen according to your profession tier and access.
This mining route is for characters whose Miner profession has moved beyond starter ores and who want a useful reserve of mid-tier inputs. Cania and Frigost appear in the profession progression as later mining regions, with Silver, Gold and Bauxite among the named ores. Gather with a recipe plan in mind: an ore can be sold raw, saved for a specific craft, or combined into an alloy once the recipe and market make sense.
Miner profession level high enough for the ore nodes you target
Access to the Cania or Frigost region you plan to visit
Inventory or bank capacity for ores and any planned alloy inputs
Check the Miner interface and identify which ore tiers you can harvest before traveling.
Choose Cania or Frigost based on the ore tier and recipe stock you actually need.
Gather available Silver, Gold, Bauxite or other permitted nodes in the area, recording which inputs remain scarce for your plan.
Keep different ore types separate so you can evaluate each material’s recipe use and market listing.
Open the relevant alloy recipe in game and verify its full ingredient list before combining gathered stock.
Compare raw ore listings with the finished alloy listing and the needs of your Blacksmith or Jeweler plans.
Craft a limited batch only if the recipe advances your profession or supplies a real use; otherwise list or retain the raw ore.
Farming tips
The Miner progression names Astrub and Incarnam, Bonta and Brakmar mines, Cania, Frigost and high-level zones; use your current level to choose a tier.
Competition and market prices vary. A rare node is only useful if its output serves your craft plan or has buyers.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat gathering and processing while the chosen ore supports a specific recipe or stock target; adjust the region as your profession level and material needs advance.
Common mistakes
Assuming every gathered ore should become an alloy: compare both outputs and verify the recipe first.
Traveling to a region before checking your harvest level: confirm that its nodes are available to your profession.
Converting all stock at once: keep raw options open until you know what your crafts and market require.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have enough ore for the planned craft or sale batch, or switch regions if the current tier no longer supplies useful recipes.
