Where to farm
Grasslands or Deciduous Forest where Moleworm burrows are present.
Moleworms collect loose minerals and items and return them to burrows. Baiting one with a mineral can encourage it to gather nearby loose items; digging the burrow retrieves what it has stored. This recovers gathered objects rather than generating a guaranteed mineral yield.
Locate a Moleworm burrow in Grasslands or Deciduous Forest.
Place mineral bait on the ground where the Moleworm can reach it.
Leave useful loose items nearby and allow the Moleworm to carry items back to its burrow.
Watch for the Moleworm to return underground before approaching the burrow.
Use the shovel on the burrow to retrieve stored items.
Sort recovered minerals and other items, then decide whether to repeat with another burrow.
Farming tips
Use items you can afford to leave as bait; the Moleworm may carry them away.
Clear nearby valuable loose items only if you want them recovered through the burrow route.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat with another available Moleworm and burrow; stored contents depend on what the animal collects, so output is variable and limited by nearby items.
Common mistakes
Expecting a fixed number of minerals: the burrow contains gathered items, not a guaranteed deposit.
Digging before the Moleworm returns: wait for it to store what it carries.
Leaving valuable items unattended beyond the intended collection area: bait and nearby objects can be carried off.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the burrow is emptied or the nearby items are recovered; switch to ordinary mining if you need a known mineral source.
