Before you go

Farming steps

  1. Choose one crop and check that the current season suits it.
  2. Prepare a grouping with enough nearby plants of that crop rather than scattering isolated seeds.
  3. Inspect neighboring plants and arrange the cluster to avoid unsuitable family combinations.
  4. Water the plants and correct nutrient needs as they appear.
  5. Tend plants when they request attention and clear weeds or debris promptly.
  6. Watch for stress and address its cause before the plants reach harvest.
  7. Collect the crop when mature; if a giant forms, harvest it and preserve seed or produce for replanting.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat with saved seeds and a fresh tended grouping; giant results vary with conditions and are not guaranteed each cycle.

Common mistakes

  • Expecting giants from density alone: also meet season, water, nutrients, and tending needs.
  • Ignoring weeds or debris: clear them to avoid added crop stress and nutrient loss.
  • Planting a cluster you cannot maintain: reduce its size until you can tend every crop.

When to stop or switch

Switch to ordinary harvesting if conditions become unsuitable or repeated care is interrupting more important survival tasks.
