Before you go
- A Lureplant producing its Leafy Meat lure.
- A weapon for nearby threats, which must be unequipped to harvest the lure.
- Armor or other protection suitable to the danger around the Eyeplants.
Farming steps
- Locate the Lureplant and examine the surrounding Eyeplants before approaching.
- Choose a route that avoids walking through the Eyeplants and keeps a clear retreat path.
- Unequip your weapon before interacting with the Leafy Meat lure.
- Collect the lure when it is available and leave the plant itself intact.
- Move away from the Eyeplants and return to camp with the harvest.
- Revisit the site later if you need another lure, while remembering that the plant is inactive in winter.
- Collect needed Leafy Meat before winter and switch to another food plan during its inactive season.
- Do not place the plant beside storage or crops; Eyeplants can make nearby camp activity hazardous and may affect suitable plant layouts.
- Check the season before planning a meal supply around this plant; winter requires an alternative.
Repeat, collect and use
Return for later lures while the plant is active and the lure has reappeared. Production stops in winter; this is a limited seasonal source rather than a year-round farm.
Common mistakes
- Harvesting with a weapon equipped: unequip it before taking the lure.
- Approaching through Eyeplants: choose a clear path and retreat instead of crossing their area.
- Counting on winter production: harvest beforehand and use another food source during winter.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have enough Leafy Meat or the approach becomes unsafe. Leave the plant intact for another active-season visit, and switch sources in winter.
