WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Move Berry Bushes to Camp

An accessible berry-bush bed near camp, with space to harvest and protection from likely hazards.

Before you go

Farming steps

  1. Find a safe overworld berry patch and dig up the mature bushes you intend to move.
  2. Carry the dug bushes to the chosen camp-side bed.
  3. Plant each bush with enough room to reach it without stepping through the whole bed.
  4. Immediately fertilize each transplanted bush with Manure, Rot, or Guano.
  5. Harvest berries when available and collect them for meals or food preparation.
  6. Watch for the bush to exhaust its harvests after the fertilizer has supported regrowth.
  7. Apply fertilizer again when regrowth is needed, then resume harvesting.

Repeat, collect and use

Berry harvests and fertilizer-supported regrowth can repeat while the bush remains planted and fertilizer is available. The initial transplant requires fertilizer, and later regrowth also needs it after the supported harvests run out.

Common mistakes

  • Planting a dug bush and waiting without fertilizing: apply fertilizer after planting to establish regrowth.
  • Assuming a natural bush also needs transplant care: reserve fertilizer for bushes you moved.
  • Packing bushes tightly beside hazards: make the bed accessible and manage fire risk around the planting.

When to stop or switch

Stop harvesting a bush once its post-fertilization growth is spent; fertilize it again when you are ready to restart berry production, or leave it dormant if you have enough food.
