WHERE & HOW TO FARM Where to farm The Dragonforged at Bay Wayside Shrine, north of Bakbattahl.
At Bay Wayside Shrine, trade crystals earned from dragon encounters for Ferrystones or other listed travel goods. The exchange is useful before the reusable Eternal Ferrystone is available or when you still want consumable travel supplies. It is a spending route rather than a way to generate more currency, so check the current menu and reserve crystals for other upgrades if needed.
Before you go Reach Bay Wayside Shrine. Collect Wyrmslife Crystals from dragon encounters or other supported progression encounters. Know whether you need consumable Ferrystones, a Portcrystal, or another exchange item. Open the route to Bay Wayside Shrine and travel there after collecting crystals. Speak with the Dragonforged and inspect the Wyrmslife Crystal exchange menu. Choose Ferrystones if you need ordinary consumable travel items. Compare the displayed cost with other available goods, including a Portcrystal or Unmaking Arrow if relevant. Confirm only the purchase you intend to make. Check inventory, then use Ferrystones outdoors by selecting an active Portcrystal destination on the map. Farming tips After claiming the Eternal Ferrystone from Captain Brant under the June 2026 update, consider reserving crystals for gear or other goods. A Ferrystone needs an active destination and open sky; buying one does not solve either limitation. Repeat, collect and use Repeat the purchase when you have more crystals and a clear travel need. This exchange does not replenish its own currency.
Common mistakes Expecting the Dragonforged to provide free Ferrystones; each purchase costs crystals. Spending crystals on consumables without comparing the gear enhancement option. Trying to travel indoors or without an activated Portcrystal after buying a stone. When to stop or switch Stop when your planned travel supplies are covered, or switch to equipment enhancement if the Eternal Ferrystone makes consumables less useful.
