Use the added Vermund and Volcanic Island travel points

Melve, Checkpoint Rest Town, and Volcanic Island Camp in the normal world.

Before you go

Open the map and identify which of the three new fixed destinations is closest to your current route.
Travel to Melve, Checkpoint Rest Town, or Volcanic Island Camp as progression permits.
Find the fixed Portcrystal at the settlement and interact with it to activate the destination.
Check the map to confirm the point is available for selection.
Repeat the activation at the other two settlements when they become accessible.
Use a Ferrystone or Eternal Ferrystone outdoors and select the newly activated destination from the map.
Route nearby cave or exploration objectives from that settlement rather than returning on foot from a distant region.

Activate points as you pass through each settlement; the network is most useful when several regions are covered.
The update also changed Ferrystone use to map-selected Portcrystal destinations, so use the map rather than expecting a separate travel list.

Each fixed Portcrystal is activated once. The destination remains available; there is no repeated pickup or respawn cycle.

Assuming a destination is usable before interacting with its crystal; confirm activation on the map.
Treating these fixed points as portable items; they cannot be retrieved and repositioned.

Stop after activating the settlement points you can currently reach. Return for the remaining locations as story access opens.
