Explore the eastern Bitterblack cliff route for rare loot
Eastern-most short pillar along the seaside cliffs east of Bitterblack Isle’s dock, then the southern ledge and raised ramp.
Before you go
- Reach the Bitterblack Isle dock and eastern exterior cliffs.
- Equip Double Vault or Levitate to scale the short pillar.
- Have Levitate for the jump or glide from the pillar to the southern ledge.
- Bring enough healing and inventory capacity for exterior exploration.
Farming steps
- From the dock, follow the exterior path east toward the seaside cliffs.
- Locate the eastern-most short pillar along the cliff edge.
- Use Double Vault or Levitate to climb onto its top.
- Face the southern ledge and use Levitate to cross to it.
- Follow the ledge south until you find the ramp leading east.
- Take the ramp and continue as it rises toward the north.
- Search the reachable route and collect the loot you actually find, noting its item type.
- Return to the dock or harbor path and decide whether the route suits your current needs.
- Do not attempt the crossing with only one of the required traversal skills; use the mining circuit for accessible deposits instead.
- Keep this route separate from a guaranteed material plan because its recorded reward is described broadly as rare loot.
Repeat, collect and use
You can revisit the exterior route while exploring, but the specific reward and whether it is useful to your build are not guaranteed. It is not a confirmed fixed-yield farm.
Common mistakes
- Trying to jump to the ledge without Levitate; bring the skill or skip the crossing.
- Assuming the route guarantees a named material or equipment drop; collect and assess the actual loot.
- Confusing the ledge route with ordinary mining spots; use deposits for targeted mineral gathering.
When to stop or switch
Stop once you have searched the route and collected useful loot, or switch to accessible mining and dungeon rooms if the traversal requirements are not met.
