WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
The Summit campaign boss encounter, playing Huntress or Ranger at the difficulty associated with the desired pet.
The Summit’s Ancient Dragon has class- and difficulty-specific pet rewards. This is a campaign boss route, separate from Summit Survival’s Golden Gemstone target and the general Gemstone victory-chest hunt. Identify the pet threshold that matches your character and difficulty, defeat the boss, then inspect the victory chest for the reward.
Unlock The Summit and progress to the Ancient Dragon encounter.
Use Huntress or Ranger if targeting the class-specific reward.
Check the desired pet’s difficulty requirement before launching the campaign.
Bring defenses and survivability suited to a full Summit clear.
Choose The Summit campaign and the difficulty required for your target pet.
Select Huntress or Ranger for the boss reward condition.
Build defenses that protect the crystal through the map’s waves.
Repair and upgrade before advancing into the Ancient Dragon encounter.
Fight the Dragon while avoiding its attacks and maintaining your defenses.
Defeat the boss and open the victory chest.
Inspect and collect the pet reward, then compare its stats with your current companion.
Farming tips
Confirm both the required class and difficulty before starting; changing either can invalidate the target.
Keep this campaign reward distinct from Summit Survival wave rewards, which use a different route.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable boss clear, but the class and difficulty requirement is limited to the relevant reward condition; the pet result should be checked in the chest.
Common mistakes
Going in as a different class than the target requires; select Huntress or Ranger as appropriate.
Using a difficulty below the pet threshold; check the target before beginning.
Leaving after the boss without opening the victory chest; claim and inspect the reward.
When to stop or switch
Stop once you have claimed the target pet, or switch to a higher stable difficulty only if pursuing a better reward result.
