Farming steps
- Open Ancient Mines and select Survival at an unlocked difficulty.
- Place defenses to cover each lane leading to the crystal.
- Start combat and monitor which defenses take the most damage.
- Repair and upgrade during breaks so the next wave remains manageable.
- Collect experience through the run and pick up gear drops worth checking.
- Continue through waves while the setup remains stable and the experience goal is useful.
- Leave, review your equipment, and select another run or progression map.
- A sustained run at a manageable difficulty is a practical experience route; avoid choosing a setting that regularly ends the run early.
- Use drops to improve the builder or combat hero that will make your next progression attempt easier.

- Attempting Survival before clearing the campaign on that difficulty; complete the unlock condition first.

- Treating this as a guaranteed Mythical gear farm; inspect actual drops and use the activity primarily as a progression bridge.
When to stop or switch
Switch to a later map or difficulty once Ancient Mines no longer gives useful experience or gear and your defenses can sustain the next step.
