WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Prime Incursions, available at Chaos VIII and above; use the in-game Prime list to select an available encounter and view its rewards.
Prime Incursions add a high-difficulty challenge to Incursion maps. Their first-clear Hyper Shard rewards are one-time milestones, while rings are a distinct reward associated with Chaos IX and Chaos X. The available reward information does not establish a specific number of groups, shard names, or detailed completion conditions, so use the Prime menu to identify an unclaimed first-clear reward and the requirements shown for it. Complete that encounter, collect the reward, then verify it in your inventory or progression screen before moving on.
Choose an available Prime encounter with a first-clear reward you have not claimed.
Bring a build able to handle the selected encounter's displayed rules and enemies.
Open the Prime Incursion menu and review the available encounters and their reward information.
Select an encounter with an unclaimed first-clear Hyper Shard reward.
Read the encounter conditions and enemy schedule shown in game before building.
Place defenses to cover the displayed lanes and account for the encounter's special rules.
Complete the Incursion's victory condition and collect its completion rewards.
Check your inventory or progression screen to confirm the Hyper Shard was awarded.
For a ring, select Chaos IX or X only when that reward is shown for the encounter, then verify the result separately from the first-clear shard.
Farming tips
Treat rings and Hyper Shards as separate reward targets; a ring milestone does not replace a first-clear shard check.
Prime Incursions begin at Chaos VIII, so pick a difficulty you can complete consistently before pursuing further rewards.
Repeat, collect and use
First-clear Hyper Shards are limited to the first clear that awards them. Prime Incursions can be replayed, and rings are separate rewards associated with Chaos IX and X; check the in-game reward information for the encounter before repeating.
Common mistakes
Assuming every Prime clear awards a new Hyper Shard; check whether that encounter's first-clear reward remains unclaimed.
Confusing ring rewards with Hyper Shard milestones; track and verify each target independently.
Entering without reading the Prime encounter conditions; adapt the defense layout to the rules displayed for that run.
When to stop or switch
Stop once the selected first-clear Hyper Shard is credited, or once the desired Chaos IX or X ring reward is collected; move to another encounter if its displayed reward better matches your remaining goal.
