Target the Genie pet on Hall of Court Survival
Hall of Court Survival or Pure Strategy in the original Dungeon Defenders; target the Genie reward listed at wave 15.
Before you go
- Complete Hall of Court Campaign to unlock the map’s extended modes.
- Confirm the Genie appears as the wave-15 reward for the selected mode in the map reward information.
- Build defenses that can hold to wave 15; Pure Strategy removes hero attacks during combat.
Farming steps
- Select Hall of Court in the mission browser and verify its Campaign clear has unlocked Survival or Pure Strategy.
- Open the selected mode’s reward display and confirm Genie is listed for the wave-15 milestone.
- Choose a difficulty your defenses can sustain through that wave, lowering it if the build is not stable.
- If selecting Pure Strategy, cover each approach with defenses because hero attacks are disabled in combat.
- Begin at a wave that preserves the reward condition; when using wave skips, start no later than two waves before the pet milestone.
- Repair and reinforce during build phases, then complete wave 15 and open the reward chest.
- Inspect the Genie’s stats and decide whether to keep it, equip it, or repeat for another roll.
- The target is Hall of Court’s Genie reward; do not use Royal Gardens’ Fairy milestone or another map’s pet schedule.
- Use the game’s reward panel as the final check if a mode or edition changes the displayed milestone.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat Hall of Court Survival or Pure Strategy to seek another Genie with different stats, but reach the map’s specific wave-15 reward condition each time. The pet is not guaranteed from unrelated waves.
Common mistakes
- Running the Fairy route on Royal Gardens instead of Hall of Court; this target has its own map reward.
- Starting too late when using wave skips; preserve at least two waves before the milestone.
- Relying on hero attacks in Pure Strategy; plan for defenses to handle combat.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the Genie’s stats fit your hero or collection goal. If your defense setup cannot reach the listed reward wave reliably, improve it or lower difficulty before another attempt.
