WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Silicon and Titanium

Silicon or titanium vein deposits on a planet in the starting system or another reachable system. Availability varies by cluster.

Before you go

Farming steps

  1. Inspect the planet resource listings and choose a destination that actually contains silicon or titanium.
  2. Travel to the planet and locate the vein patch on the surface.
  3. Place a Mining Machine over the veins and connect power and an output belt.
  4. Feed the belt into a local logistics station configured to supply the mined material.
  5. At a same-planet consumer, configure another station to demand that material and connect its output to production.
  6. For a cross-system import, use interstellar stations and vessels; supply warpers when the route requires them.
  7. Check the receiving station and downstream belt before scaling the outpost.

Repeat, collect and use

The mine supplies material while the veins last, and logistics can continue delivering it while both stations and the route remain powered and configured.

Common mistakes

  • Assuming a resource exists on a planet without checking its listing; scout first.
  • Using planetary drones for a route between star systems; use interstellar vessels for that transfer.
  • Setting only the source to supply or only the destination to demand; configure both ends for the same material.

When to stop or switch

Stop expanding when the receiving factory has enough silicon or titanium for current production. Add another patch or route when the deposit is depleted or demand grows.
