Scribing Scripts from Daily Activities
Eligible daily activities include Delve, Mages Guild, Fighters Guild, World Boss, Cyrodiil, and Imperial City quests, with some content-specific sources.
Before you go
- Scribing unlocked and access to the relevant Scholarium Wing.
- Access to the zone, guild, or PvP area for the chosen daily.
- A specific script target and enough inventory space for rewards.
Farming steps
- Identify the exact script you want and locate its listed activity source in your Scribing collection or current in-game information.
- Check whether the script’s reward pool requires a completed Scholarium Wing.
- Travel to the associated quest giver or activity board and accept the matching daily.
- Complete the objective shown in the quest tracker; use a group if the activity is beyond your character’s solo ability.
- Claim the daily reward and check your script collection for the target.
- If it has not arrived and the reward source is repeatable, try another eligible reset or pursue a different source for that script.
- A script’s source is specific; a random daily is not a substitute for the correct activity pool.
- The reward is a chance from eligible pools, so plan for more than one completion if needed.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the eligible daily when it becomes available again. Acquisition is chance-based; stop once the script is learned or collected as needed.
Common mistakes
- Running many unrelated dailies: match the activity to the target script first.
- Ignoring Wing gates: complete the required Scribing progression before expecting the reward pool.
- Assuming a reward is guaranteed: allow for repeated eligible turns if the script has not appeared.
When to stop or switch
Stop once you have the desired script or have enough copies for your Grimoires; switch to another script’s source if your target is obtained.
