Operations menu > Found Adrift; follow the live briefing to the abandoned megaship location.
Before you go
- Elite Dangerous PC Live with Odyssey access.
- A ship and on-foot loadout suitable for the scenario shown in the briefing.
- Enough combat readiness and supplies for the difficulty you select.
Farming steps
- Open Operations and choose Found Adrift; read the briefing and difficulty before launching.
- Review the listed ship and on-foot objectives and outfit for the stages the briefing identifies.
- Travel to the marked operation location and approach the abandoned megaship as directed.
- Disembark when the operation calls for it, then follow objective markers through the wreck rather than searching unrelated compartments.
- Watch for scavengers and prioritize the high-value asset objective when it becomes available.
- Secure the item and continue through any remaining live objectives until the operation reports completion.
- Read the result panel and note the actual rewards before leaving the instance.
- Use the completion result as the authority for rewards; no fixed reward breakdown is established here.
- If the route becomes unclear, check the active objective and navigation markers before backtracking.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat while Found Adrift remains available in the Operations menu. Each completion is a new run; reward amounts can vary, so record each result rather than projecting one payout across runs.
Common mistakes
- Assuming a specific asset payout is guaranteed; check the result panel after each run.
- Launching with a ship-only setup when the briefing includes on-foot stages; prepare for both modes.
- Exploring side areas while scavengers or objective pressure is active; prioritize the marked asset route.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the result panel confirms completion, or switch to a better-prepared Operation if you cannot meet the live objectives safely.
